GUIDE QUESTIONS:
1. How did social networking help in the Philippine elections?
2.How did the Asia Foundation help the advocacies of some human rights-based organizations?
3.How did USAID and the authors help non- government organizations help in their advocacies and objectives?
ANSWERS:
1.The network helps the people to sign up for the system and to post their observations and comments. 2.The participants are started using their organizational or personal online accounts in promoting their causes and have adopted a strategic approach to conduct human rights advocacy. They use #hashtags to make President Noynoy Aquino aware of the different concerns of advocates.
3.The Asia Foundation has long partnered with the organizations who try to move forward through technology, helping to sponsor in May 2005 the first Philippine Blogging Summit. Five years later, in the rapidly transforming social media landscape, we supported civil society organizations to leverage this technology to reach out to the general public. Human right base organizations underwent a training on “Digital Activism”. This focused on the use of social networking sites (Facebook), Blogging (WordPress), microblogging (Twitter), web tools and applications (Google Documents), live streaming and mobile activism.
USAID, conducted the first series of trainings in June 2010. Out of 37 human rights base organizations, including representatives from the Commission on Human Rights, that participated, 30 created their official Twitter account while 16 have official Facebooks accounts. Monthly monitoring of these social media accounts reveal that they continue to be active with an average of one post per week that is human rights related.
Modern world is trapped in using social media. Mostly of us was addicted using it, they become more attracted every single day. They think that being not aware on social media wasn’t nice. The limit that social media maximize was about to achieve. The old life was gone. The new was begin. A life where is using mobile phone is much important than their breath. A life where is losing mobile phones was a depression or a big problem to conclude. 99.9 % over 100% of people in this world are willing to sacrifice their sense of smell rather than their technology. We see our future world and that is about technology
It was many and many a year ago,
In a kingdom by the sea,
That a maiden there lived whom you may know
By the name of Annabel Lee;
And this maiden she lived with no other thought
I was a child and she was a child
In this kingdom by the sea,
But we loved with a love that was more than love-
I and my Annabel Lee—
With a love that the winged seraphs of heaven
Coveted her and me.
And this was the reason that, long ago,
In this kingdom by the sea,
A wind blew out of a cloud, chilling
My beautiful Annabel Lee;
So that her highborn kinsmen came
And bore her away from me,
To shut her up in a sepulcher
In this kingdom by the sea.
The angels, not half so happy in Heaven,
Went envying her and me—
Yes! – that was the reason (as all men know,
In this kingdom by the sea)
That the wind came out of the cloud by night,
Chilling and killing my Annabel Lee.
But our love it was stronger by far than the love
Of those who were older than we—
And neither the angels in Heaven above
Nor the demons down under the sea
Can ever dissever my soul from the soul
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
For the moon never beams, without bringing me dreams
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And the stars never rise, but I feel the bright eyes
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side
Of my darling—my darling—my life and my bride,
In her sepulcher there by the sea—
In her tomb by the sounding sea.
Guide Question:
1.Who is the assumed speaker? Why did you think so?
Technology is the advancement of using electrical powers and other matters. It is also used as a leisure, mostly of the Filipino are easily to do their task because of the technology. It is the use of appliances and gadgets.
I used technology in my everyday activities in the ways of i enjoy using it because technology is my shoulder to hold on. It releases my stress and boredom. It keeps me aware to the issues that faces in the Philippines.
The disadvantages of using technology many Filipino’s become like “Juan Tamad” they want to get things by the ways of waiting. It also affected our health, sleeping disorder may occur. Lastly, the technology affects our lovely mother earth.
In other ways I think it is good in terms of our task will be easier to do and we can communicate to our love ones in just one click. But in other way also, it is not good because just like what i said on the question number 4, mostly of the Filipino are become like “Juan Tamad” , it is not good in our health and lastly our society are affected.
Yes it is, in terms of doing activities in school, technology help me to find a idea on some matters. Next is when it comes to electrical technology it gives me easiest and relaxation feeling. Lastly, technology becomes my leisure when i get bored.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
